Khun\u00a0Siriwat\u00a0Wongcharukorn\u00a0(Khun\u00a0Leng), CEO of MFEC<\/span><\/b>, shared his vision during the keynote, emphasizing effective AI adoption in organizations and highlighting the importance of modern Thai organizations adapting to AI to gain a business advantage.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

\u201cWe need to drive organizations toward AI, not wait for AI to come to the organization.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>
<\/span>\u2013\u00a0<\/span>Khun<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Siriwat<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Wongcharukorn<\/span>, CEO, MFEC<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

From\u00a0assisting\u00a0multiple clients with AI adoption,\u00a0Khun\u00a0Leng\u00a0observed\u00a0that the main challenge\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0technology\u2014it\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>people (People)<\/span><\/b>. He distilled his insights into three key points:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> \n

  1. Adapt the organization to AI, not AI to the organization<\/span><\/b> \nTrying to fit AI into existing processes rarely succeeds. Organizations must be willing to\u00a0<\/span>rethink processes and structures<\/span><\/b>\u00a0to align with AI capabilities (e.g., let AI handle 80% of tasks while humans manage the remaining 20%).<\/span> 2.<\/span>AI is not just an IT responsibility<\/span><\/b> \nBusiness units themselves (HR, Finance, Sales, etc.) should drive AI adoption, as they understand their work context best.\u00a0IT\u2019s\u00a0role is to\u00a0<\/span>facilitate\u00a0and enable<\/span><\/b>\u00a0AI\u00a0use.\u00a0Khun\u00a0Leng\u00a0likened AI adoption to using an iPhone\u2014start from individual familiarity first.<\/span> \n<\/span>3.Success Equation: Drive > Resistance + Inertia<\/span><\/b> \nOrganizational change requires that\u00a0<\/span>driving force (Drive)<\/span><\/b>\u00a0exceeds\u00a0<\/span>resistance (conflicting interests)<\/span><\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>inertia (laziness or complacency)<\/span><\/b>. The strongest drive comes from the\u00a0<\/span>CEO\u2019s\u00a0clear vision<\/span><\/b>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li> \n<\/ol><\/p>\n\n
